When something is wrong with your eye

What should I do if I have an eye emergency?
Call us during office hours and we will find you a time as soon as we can. For a chemical splash, a penetrating injury, or sudden vision loss with weakness or trouble speaking, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
How far is The Optical Centre from Mead?
We are about 15 minutes from Mead, heading southwest on CO-66 to 521 Main Street in downtown Longmont.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept VSP and EyeMed vision plans, plus Medicare, UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Tricare and most other major medical plans.
Are you open on weekends?
Yes, on the first and third Saturday of each month, from 9 am to 1 pm. We are also open until 6 pm on Mondays and Fridays.
How soon can I get in?
